- Differences in the duration of antibiotic treatment (female/male differences: man should be treated double as long as women for the same disease: febrile urinary tract infection). Why?Because it is assumed that UTI in man is associated with prostate involvement (it needs longer time to efficiently penetrate the prostatic tissue).
